It is undeniable that intelligence has become a trend and an irreversible trend. "Made in China 2025" pointed out that smart manufacturing will become the main direction of manufacturing in China. What is worthy of recognition is that in recent years, my country's textile industry has achieved gratifying results in intelligent manufacturing.

 

Intelligent manufacturing is the general trend

    As labor costs continue to increase, textile companies have increasingly urgent requirements for equipment automation and intelligence. In this context, intelligent manufacturing is becoming the breakthrough and focus of a new round of transformation and upgrading of the industry. It can be seen from ITMA ASIA+CITME 2016 that the exhibition equipment has been greatly improved in terms of automation and intelligence. For example, the sizing machine exhibited at the 2016 Textile Machinery Exhibition has applied a large number of technologies such as Internet technology, cloud technology, and information processing to improve the intelligent level of the equipment. In addition to exhibiting an automated stand-alone machine, Japan's Tsudakoma also displayed a three-dimensional animation simulation of the intelligent weaving workshop for sizing and weaving processes.

    For another example, the automatic threading and tying equipment that has attracted everyone's attention, in addition to the large-scale application of non-contact optical detection technology to realize automatic skeinless yarn tying, it also meets the requirements of complex technology such as colored yarn management and threading and tying; At the same time, the man-machine interface and management software have been improved to provide a good equipment foundation for the modern production and management of the weaving workshop.

 

Intelligence is changing traditional production

    In fact, intelligent technology is transforming the traditional textile industry, and some companies have begun to try to make some manufacturing links intelligent. Although some companies have not replaced or newly installed complete sets of equipment with a high degree of automation on a large scale, they have significantly improved product quality and production efficiency through equipment upgrades in key links.

 

Forward and Thinking of Intelligent Manufacturing

    To a certain extent, the intelligentization of equipment has solved the problem of insufficient labor and improved the competitiveness of China's textile industry. But in the process of developing intelligence, there are indeed certain problems, which are worthy of industry thinking and discussion. On the one hand, many entrepreneurs believe that the current simple machine substitution in the textile industry is not intelligent manufacturing. In the true sense of the Whether the industry is cost-effective is debatable. A series of costs such as machine investment, maintenance, and upgrades are not low, and whether textile companies can absorb such an expensive investment is also an issue that cannot be ignored. On the other hand, as a labor-intensive industry, on the one hand, intelligence can drive local investment and promote industrial upgrading, on the other hand, it means that a large number of workers may lose their jobs. How to resolve the contradiction between the two is worthy of further discussion.

    For intelligence, the current government-level guidance includes the following four points: establishing a demonstration zone; improving smart manufacturing standards; promoting smart manufacturing supplier alliances; developing Internet +, big data and artificial intelligence. The intelligentization of the textile industry has achieved some gratifying results. At the level of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, a total of 12 projects were listed in the "Smart Manufacturing Pilot Demonstration Projects" from 2015 to 2017; from 2016 to 2017, a total of 6 projects were listed Intelligent manufacturing comprehensive standardization project; 10 projects are included in the application project of the new mode of intelligent manufacturing.
